6.6. Diagnostics for Cardiovascular Disease

This video is an overview of diagnostic tests that can be useful in understanding your risk for the largest cause of mortality in the world: cardiovascular disease from atherosclerosis. We go over the risks and benefits of different tests, including CT angiograms (CTA) and coronary artery calcium scans (CAC). These tests are enormously helpful, but there is some nuance in knowing when to get them and what to do with the results.
