Supplements for sleep are incredibly popular. Being able to take an over-the-counter pill to significantly improve your sleep is the dream, but is it reality? Here we walk through the evidence (or lack of evidence) for a wide variety of sleep supplements, including melatonin, magnesium, valerian root, CBD, THC, glycine, tart cherries, kiwis, and phosphatidylserine. Some may help in certain circumstances, but it is important to realize that none will enable you to neglect the other strategies we discussed for improving your sleep.
